The new hotel will retain the historic façade of the original building overlooking Grosvenor Square whilst integrating a hotel, retail, spa and event space.
The WOLFF 1250 B crane has been installed standing on top of a new concrete core, working with a 50 m jib and short 10 m tower. The crane has an impressive lift capacity of 28.0 te at 50 m in 2 fall working. The WOLFF 1250 B crane was specified by Multiplex as the solution to lift in heavy beams.
Despite the size of the WOLFF 1250 B, the crane’s modular components are designed for easy and speedy assembly. This allowed the crane to be erected over one weekend, keeping disruption and inconvenience in this prestigious Central London location to a minimum.
The WOLFF 1250 B and other WOLFFKRAN luffing cranes offer large lifting capacities that are the answer to the ever increasing lift requirements of the construction industry. We have cranes that allow ever heavier components to be considered when planning
