In London's Bloomsbury conservation area, a transformative refurbishment project is underway at 21 Bloomsbury Street, spearheaded by construction company Mace Interiors. WOLFFKRAN was chosen to provide the lifting solutions for this ambitious venture that aims to revitalise an 85,000 sq. ft office space in three distinct phases, with sustainability at its core.

The recently erected WOLFF 100 B tower crane is equipped with a 40 m jib and windsail, standing tall at 31.5 m. The crane is mounted using unbolted Spigots with a 1.5 m wide base tower section. As a part of the erection, the crane was tied directly to the slab on the 6th floor with a steel arrangement around the tower. The tie takes out a moment, providing all stability.
One of the 21 Bloomsbury Street project's notable features is the preservation of 95% of the original building structure. This initiative places a strong emphasis on minimising the carbon footprint, showcasing a commitment to eco-friendly construction practices.
