Role Purpose

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will share our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service, helping position Wolffkran as the number one tower crane provider in the UK.


You will support the delivery and management of customer tower crane schemes from design concept through to project delivery, ensuring all engineering outputs meet the highest technical and safety standards.


You will work directly with customers to deliver a best-in-class experience on every project, while collaborating closely with colleagues across sales, engineering, and operations. Building strong relationships with both existing customers and new business prospects will be key to your success.

What tasks await you?

  • Advise customers on the most suitable tower crane solutions for their construction sites.
  • Produce technical drawings in plan and elevation illustrating crane configurations.
  • Support the Sales team with technical expertise during project tenders.
  • Create tie and climbing layouts and provide reaction and axial load calculations for temporary works design.
  • Assess the feasibility of tower crane installation and removal when developing crane schemes.
  • Calculate foundation loads and tie loads for base design requirements.
  • Attend online meetings and occasional site visits to support complex crane schemes.
  • Upload and manage drawings on online collaboration platforms for customers and project teams.
  • Share expertise and support colleagues across the Wolffkran Group globally.

What is your job profile?

Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience using CAD software
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong planning and project management abilities
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time and resources effectively
  • Able to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills
