WOLFFKRAN City Portal Debut in the UK

19.02.2026 | News

WOLFFKRAN has installed a WOLFF 355 B luffing jib tower crane at the redevelopment of 110 The Queen’s Walk in London. The crane stands 42 m high with a 50 m jib and has been positioned on a City Portal CP690 — marking the first WOLFFKRAN installation on a City Portal in the UK

The City Portal raises the crane above ground level, creating enough clearance for lorries to pass directly underneath. This setup is essential on a site with extremely limited space, where vehicles must complete a three‑point turn to exit safely. The portal design makes full use of the restricted footprint while keeping site logistics moving.

City Portal systems are already successfully in operation across multiple European markets and have proven their value in a wide range of applications.

The redevelopment of 110 The Queen’s Walk aims to retain the building’s distinctive curved shape while improving sustainability, workspace quality and the surrounding public areas. The scheme will introduce greener spaces along with new cafés, shops and restaurants.
