There is no better place to meet lifting and access industry professionals in the UK than Vertikal Days. This year’s event took place on 9-10 September at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire. Here’s a look at what we showcased at the WOLFFKRAN stand.
WOLFF City Portal CP 690 takes centre stage
At this year’s event, WOLFFKRAN presented the WOLFF City Portal CP 690. Following its debut at the 110 The Queen’s Walk project in London, the City Portal has generated significant interest in the UK. We wanted to bring this solution closer to our customers and give visitors the opportunity to see it in person.
The City Portal attracted considerable attention throughout the show, and we hope to see more installations across the UK in the future.
To find out more about the WOLFF City Portals, take a look at our latest brochure.
WOLFF 235 B - part of a major Mayo Civil Engineering order
Mounted on the City Portal was a WOLFF 235 B luffing jib tower crane, finished in the customer’s branded colours. The crane forms part of a multi-crane order placed by Mayo Civil Engineering.
With a maximum jib length of 60 metres, lifting capacities of up to 16 tonnes and hoisting speeds of up to 130 m/min, the WOLFF 235 B delivers the performance required for demanding construction projects. Its compact working radius makes it particularly suitable for urban sites with limited space.
WOLFF Onsite - power, signage and accessories
WOLFF Onsite showcased its latest temporary power solutions, tower crane signage and crane accessories.
A fully operational Enertainer BESS powered the stand throughout the event, while the P-GRID hybrid generator was also on display. Together, these solutions demonstrated how WOLFF Onsite’s temporary power solutions could support demanding construction-site environments.
WOLFF Onsite also presented its range of tower crane signage solutions, demonstrating the different animation and display options available. These allow users to communicate messages and adapt their signage for different occasions and seasons. The range included everything from high-visibility illuminated signs to fully programmable digital displays.
The WOLFF Challenge
The WOLFF Challenge added a competitive element to the stand, inviting visitors to test their skills in a ball-toss game. Players had to bounce a ball onto the marked area in the centre of the table and land it in one of the four red cups. Those who succeeded won a limited-edition WOLFFKRAN glass.
