One of the two WOLFF 355 B tower cranes has started work on the Edge London Bridge scheme, which aims to become London's most sustainable office tower.

TC1 has been erected to an initial height of 54m using a 300t mobile crane. Subsequently, it will undergo two climbs and ties to reach its final height of 108m. For this crane, WOLFFKRAN proposed a robust HT23 (2.3m wide) tower that helps reduce the number of ties from three to two compared with the standard TV20 (2m wide) tower.
In April 2024, a second WOLFF 355 B tower crane will augment the site. This 40.5m tower crane will be found on a steel grillage at level 01. It will undergo three climbs and ties, ultimately reaching a height of 103.5m.
This crane will be slew locked out of service to keep it clear of the neighbouring building.
Aligned with the objectives of attaining BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications, the expansive 260,000 sq. ft, the Edge development will encompass 28 floors of cutting-edge commercial office space. The design includes a generous shared green roof terrace to enhance occupier well-being, coupled with the addition of a new adjacent public park.
